Vsem privet! In this year April I bought my long time dream bike. MZ Kanuni ETZ 301 yearmodel 1998. It's made in Turkey by Kanuni but it's 99% same bike than german MZ's. In paper it have same performance than Jawa but it feels much more faster. And ofcourse it have 5-gears. But the best technican solution in the bike is engines rubber absorber. What it does is that the bike doesn't vibrate at all! That's the main difference comparing to Jawa in touring comfort.

This bike have some specialities. Aluminium fenders(original are plastic), touring windshield, pneumant side boxes&biltema back box, my homemade luggage rack, intake boost bottle and red frame. Very good bike for touring! In about 3 weeks ago I made a little 500km daytrip to Russia with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZV7ibZNfhD0 Me and my wife and lot of things in boxes so the back suspenson was under a hard pressure. But it worked fine. I made a back springs tightener from childrens ice hockey. It works but I definately have to buy progressive springs.

You have some work to do if you want to make it look original. But good luck to your project! MZ is a very good and reliable bike. Always a great choice!

Vsem privet rebjata! My MZ is worked very good at the whole summer. I'm very pleased with it. I've rode about 9000km with it already and no probs. I also made some new practical fitments on it. Leg protectors, cruise foofrests, kappa ka650 windshield, progressive rear springs and 20peak front sprocket. Here is new video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR1vtn2avyY

It's a intake resonator chamber(same like Yamaha's YEIS). Previous owner made it from aluminium. It's suppose to increase low rev torque, but I don't know... It would effect much more if the cylinder have reed valves.

Hello guys! MZ is now waking up of it's winter sleep. I did some maintenance and upgrades for it during the winter. I replaced secondary chain, back chaincover+rubbers and odometer sprockets. I also put new 78cm wide chromed handlebar, smaller Givi windshield and clock+thermometer. I had some vibration promlems with some parts(mostly the side protector bar). I had to made some "softing" for the side protectors upper mounting. The only part that still vibrates is top box cover. I'll made some "softing" there also. Vsem Privet! Now I've started also my MZ season. Everything worked fine except a little problem with turn signals(maybe a rele). New handlebar is very good because riding position is much like in enduro bike. New smaller windshield works also fine and it looks much better than the old one. Here is the pic from yesterday
